Hi, I’m a Southern-born, farm-to-table chef with a passion for creating comforting, soulful dishes with a modern twist. Growing up in Charleston, South Carolina, I spent countless hours in my grandmother’s kitchen, learning the secrets of slow-cooked flavors, homemade biscuits, and the magic of gathering around the table.
After studying at the Culinary Institute of America, I worked in top restaurants across the country, honing my skills and deepening my love for fresh, locally sourced ingredients. My journey led me to open "Harvest & Hearth", a farm-to-table restaurant in Nashville, where I bring classic Southern flavors to life in a fresh and exciting way.
Beyond the kitchen, I share my love for cooking on my Food Network show, "Southern Roots", and in my best-selling cookbook, "Soulful Plates: A Modern Take on Southern Comfort". My mission is simple: to inspire home cooks with easy, delicious, and heartfelt recipes that celebrate good food and great company.
